Will I go orange or streaky?

No, spray tans have come a long way in the last few years.
We only use Sienna X products which are used by many celebrities on television e.g. Strictly come dancing, Gladiators and how to look good naked.
We will match the correct solution to your skin tone to avoid a fake or streaky tan.

How long will my spray tan last?

5-7 days depending on lifestyle.
Long baths, swimming and excessive exercise will fade your tan.
Moisturising and hydration is the key to prolonging your tan.

How does it work?

Sienna X Sunless tanning products contain an active ingredient called Dihydroxyacetone (commonly known as DHA).

DHA is a sugar (without colour) that interacts directly with the proteins and amino acids in the outer layer of your skin, the epidermis, to produce a gorgeous golden brown colour.
When applying your sunless tan, a lightly coloured solution of DHA will be sprayed over the body, this is then showered off when your actual tan has developed.

Is it safe?

Spray tanning and fake tanning are MUCH safer than revealing your skin to the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays. It may not last as long, but you still get a great ‘healthy-looking’ tan.
With a sunless tan there is no risk of sunburn, peeling, sunstroke.

Does it protect against UV?

No. Sun protection will need to be worn.

What do I wear?

We provide disposable thongs but you are more than welcome to wear your own underwear if you feel more comfortable.
Sienna X washes out of most fabrics but may stain light colours.
